Overview

Lasy i Obywatele is a grassroots foundation that protects forests out of love for nature and a sense of civic duty. They believe in the environmental and social value of forests. The foundation works to ensure that in a time of climate change, forests can protect us all.

The Project

The foundation is developing a tool to help citizens submit formal requests to local forest authorities during public consultations. This is a vital opportunity for people to have a real say in how their forests are managed over the next 10 years. This generator is an essential tool that encourages public engagement in forest protection.

Design Approach

The original tool faced several usability issues, including a heavy cognitive load and an unclear user path, which made it difficult to use. After auditing the website and the application, I proposed a series of improvements to make the process smoother.

The Solution

I simplified the design, shortened the texts, and used clear headings to highlight the most important information. By breaking the process down into a few simple steps, the tool is now much more user-friendly, more intuitive and easier to navigate.
